Bible, Encouragement, Faith, Family, Reflection

Good Morning Loves,

How did you sleep? Did you have so much on your mind? Were you contemplating on a lot of things especially with the holidays coming up? I hope you were able to get some sleep. Remember a few posts ago, “Think about what you’re thinking” I talked of not letting your mind do whatever it wants to do. You have to train your mind to not think whatever because that’s how you become overwhelmed. Write down your thoughts if you have to. Sometimes it helps to see things on paper than trying to vision it in your mind. Lastly, ask yourself how does it benefit you! If it don’t benefit you or make you feel good then what you dealing with it for? Please you better let that dead weight go!!

Today is the first day of December! Wow we’re in the last month of the year of 2018! Take time to reflect all of 2018 and think about what you could’ve done differently. Now since you couldn’t do those things, do you think you have the opportunity to do it in 2019? You don’t want to waste another year especially after realizing what you have to do. My gift to you all is to pass down sound wisdom that you can take heed to now and forevermore.

December is the month where people expect a lot of wishes to come true. And for the most part wishes do come true if you BELIEVE/HOPE that you will receive the wish. The Bible says in Romans 8:24-25, “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it”.

December is also a time where people make a New Years resolution. Some are able to follow through while others get side tracked. I used to have New Years resolutions a few years back but it never worked for me. I used to say they were full of unrealistic expectations and goals for myself. Truth of the matter was I didn’t believe in myself that I could accomplish those things despite the fact I knew I was capable of accomplishing it. I just didn’t want to put in the work because of the time it will take to accomplish it. Of course nothing comes easy, but the effort that’s put into accomplishing something is all worth it.

As most of you have known that my life has been on hold due to putting everyone else’s feelings and projects before my own. I used to regret about how much time I’ve wasted because time is precious and you can’t get it back. Anyhow I’ve changed my mindset from regretting to accepting that it was a lesson I needed to learn for myself. With that being said, each of you should be mindful of how you are utilizing your time. Again ask yourself how does it benefit you if you give your time to this and that! If you keep spending time on unnecessary things/events that does not benefit you then you will never get anything accomplished in your life. Know your worth and value yourself.

Enjoy your holiday and spend plenty of time with family. Aim to do things differently in 2019. I’m aiming for a lot of my personal goals to be accomplished in 2019 as well as kicking some habits to the curb. I’m so thankful for 2018, because I’ve learned so many lessons. Some were painful that I thought I wasn’t going to be able to pick myself back up, but God!! I’m so excited for 2019 when my cup of blessings will be overflowing in the saucer!!

Until next time stay encouraged and safe. Believe that you will make it through 2018 into 2019. I thank you so much my Loves for reading my blogs and supporting me. 🤗💖
